Zebbug Rovers Anthem By Mr. Joe Bajada

LISTEN ZEBBUG ROVERS FC ANTHEM

       Mr. Joe Bajada who is the Zebbug Local Council vice Mayor, on Sunday 30^th May 2004 presented the Zebbug Rovers F.C. Anthem to the club.  Although Mr. Joe Bajada was born in Sannat and grew up in Sannat, he married in Zebbug and now lives there since a number of years and he feels that he makes part from Zebbug.  He works hard for the Zebbug Village and he wants that this village is one of the best in Gozo.

       Since Zebbug Rovers F.C. did not have yet their own anthem, Mr. Bajada decided to write this anthem in dedication to the club as a remember of the first time the team was promoted in the first division in Gozo.  Mr. Bajada wrote the words of this anthem and sponsored the music, and presented this anthem to the Zebbug Rovers F.C. for the occasion of Sunday 30^th May when the club fans celebrated the Gozitan Championship. 

       The anthem was sang for the first time for this occasion.  One should remind also that Mr. Joe Bajada this year also celebrated his 25^th anniversary as a Sports Journalist.  To know more about this in a maltese version
